Accent get set for the £13bn Northern Powerhouse investment

We are proud to support chancellor George Osborne’s plan for a £13bn investment in the north of England – a project known as Northern Powerhouse. By delivering innovative and exciting working environments, we are helping to increase productivity and facilitate employment.

Reportedly already creating opportunities in this region through major projects, Northern Powerhouse is to provide much-needed modern transport connections, support universities and supply the ‘local power and control that a powerhouse economy needs’. This significant development is planned to affect businesses of all sizes, from prime contractors to the smallest SME.

This helpful infographic from sets out the plans for investment in this region. For example, an £11m boost is set to ‘accelerate and support the development of high-tech business’.
